A Password is Required to Open the Virtual Machine Configuration

In Parallels Desktop activated with the volume license product key, virtual machine configuration can be password protected from being viewed and edited.

So if you're requested to enter the password to open the virtual machine configuration and you don't know it, contact the person who gave you this virtual machine (in most cases, it's your system administrator).
