Managing Sessions

When you launch a remote application or desktop in Parallels Client, a session is created for the connection. You can manage sessions from the Sessions menu, which allows you to perform the following tasks:

  • Connect. Connect to Parallels RAS using the selected connection settings. If the selected connection is active, this menu item is disabled.
  • Refresh. Refresh the published resources view (the information is re-retrieved from Parallels RAS).
  • Log Off. End the remote session.
  • Send Ctrl-Alt-Del. Send the key combination to the remote server.
  • Session Information. View and manage active session(s). See below for more information.
  • Disconnect All RAS Sessions. Disconnect all active Parallels Client sessions. The corresponding sessions running on the remote server continue to run.
  • Log Off All RAS Sessions. Logs off all active sessions on the local and the remote computer.
