Changing View Modes

Parallels Desktop Upgrade to Windows 7 provides a number of view modes to make your work with virtual machines more comfortable and efficient:

• Window mode . In this mode, the virtual machine screen is displayed in the Parallels Desktop Upgrade to Windows 7 window. To switch from the Window mode to Coherence, choose Coherence from the View menu or press the appropriate hot key combination (Ctrl+Shift+Enter by default).
• Coherence mode . In this mode, the virtual machine desktop is invisible so that you can see the virtual machine program windows in Windows 7 and work with them side by side with your Windows 7 programs. To return to the Window mode, press the appropriate hot key combination (Ctrl+Shift+Enter by default).

When you start any program set to work in the Windows XP virtual machine , the virtual machine starts in the Coherence view mode by default.

Note : It will take some time (about 2-3 minutes) to launch a program set to work in the Windows XP virtual machine if you launch this program for the first time since you turned on your computer.
