Configuring Auditing Logging
By default, auditing is enabled on the Parallels Remote Application Server. Auditing can be enabled per server or per site, as described in the subsections that follow this one.
To enable and configure auditing in the RAS Console, navigate to
Farm
/
Site
/
Settings
.
The auditing log contains information about opened sessions and the total time for each session.
Auditing logs can be configured on the
Auditing
tab page:

The
Filtering the following processes
list contains processes that will NOT be included in the audit log file produced when the
View Audit
button is clicked. To add or remove a process, click
Tasks
>
Add
or
Tasks
>
Delete
respectively. To rename a process, click
Add
>
Properties
. To reset the entire list and display the default processes, click
Add
>
Default
.

To enable or disable auditing, select
Enabled
or
Disabled
in the
Auditing
drop-down list.

To view the log file, click the
View Audit
button.

To clear the log files, click the
Clear Audit File
button.

Use the
Backup log file
drop-down list to specify how often the log file should be backed up. Backup log files are stored in the same directory as other log files. Backup log files can be viewed from the
Backups
node in the RAS Monitor application.
