Like a Mac or like a PC?

You can choose one of the following integration levels:

  • Like a Mac: If you choose this integration level, Shared Profile will be enabled and your Mac OS X desktop, documents, pictures, music, videos, and downloads folders shared with the Windows guest operating system.

Besides, the virtual machine will be configured to work in the Coherence view mode . In this mode, the virtual machine window will be hidden and you will see only the windows of the guest OS applications that are running.

  • Like a PC: If you choose this integration level, the virtual machine will be configured to work in the Window view mode . In this mode, it will be displayed in a separate window.

Your Mac OS X files will not be shared with Windows, however, you will be able to drag and drop files between the host and guest operating systems, as well as copy text.

Note: You can change the integration level between Windows and Mac OS X after the virtual machine creation in the Virtual Machine Configuration dialog .
