Modifying Template Properties

If you need to change the configuration of an existing template, select it in the Templates list and click Tasks > Properties. This opens the Template Properties dialog, which consists of tabs containing the same properties as the wizard pages described in Stage 2: Configure the Template.

However, the dialog adds two additional tabs, which are not present in the template creation wizard. These pages are Settings and Security. The settings on these tabs are inherited from the Site defaults, but you can override them if needed. To use the default settings, select the Inherit default settings options (available on each of the two tabs). To specify your own settings, clear the option. To see and edit default settings, click the Edit Defaults link. For more information, see Site Defaults.
