prlctl change-passwd

Changes the encryption password for the specified virtual machine.

Syntax

prlctl change-passwd ID | name

Parameters

Remarks

The command can be used to change the password that was used to encrypt a virtual machine. A user will be asked to enter the current and the new password.

The virtual machine must be currently encrypted for this command to work. If you would like to encrypt an unencrypted virtual machine, use the encrypt command .
