Parallels RAS Templates

Parallels RAS Templates are used to automate the creation and deployment of guest VMs in Parallels Remote Application Server. A RAS Template is created as a copy of an existing guest VM but cannot run as a regular virtual machine. You can customize a RAS Template for use with Parallels Remote Application Server according to your needs. Once a template is ready, you can use it to create guest VM clones (copies) that will inherit all of the properties of the template. Guest VMs can then be used to serve applications, documents, and desktops to your Parallels RAS users.

RAS Templates can be created with the following versions of Windows as a guest OS:

• Windows XP SP3
• Windows Vista
• Windows 7
• Windows 8
• Windows 10
