Installing Parallels Tools in a Windows Virtual Machine

Parallels Tools are available for the following Windows guest operating systems:

• Windows 2000
• Windows Server 2003
• Windows XP
• Windows Vista
• Windows Server 2008

To install Parallels Tools in any of these operating systems:

1. Make sure the respective virtual machine is running.
2. Execute the pctl installtools VM_Name command on the server. For example, you can run this command to install Parallels Tolls in the MyVM virtual machine.

   # pctl installtools MyVM
