General Virtual Machine Management

This section describes various prlctl commands allowing you to perform such tasks as listing virtual machines, creating new virtual machines, cloning, performing power operations (start, stop, pause, etc.), encrypting, and many others.

NOTE: Some commands and modifiers listed and described in this guide are not yet available on Apple Silicon-powered Macs. Known limitations include encrypting and decrypting VMs; creating, listing, and switching between snapshots; smart guard functionality, and more.
