Create a Custom Host-Only Network

When working with Parallels Desktop, you can use an already configured shared or host-only networks. If you need to manage network traffic between virtual machines, you can add a new host-only network.

Note: You can add new host-only networks in Parallels Desktop for Mac Pro Edition only.

To add a new host-only network:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Click the Parallels icon in the menu bar and choose Preferences. Then click Network.
    • Right-click the Parallels Desktop icon in the Dock and choose Preferences. Then click Network.
  2. Click the Add button Mac_Add button. Once a new host-only network is added, configure its settings the way you need.

To remove a custom host-only network, select it and click the Remove button Mac_Remove button.
