PrlVmCfg_SetSyncVmHostnameEnabled Function

Enables or disables VM name and guest hostname synchronization feature in a virtual machine.

A handle of type PHT_VM_CONFIGURATION identifying the virtual machine configuration.

bEnabled

Setting boolean value.

PRL_RESULT . Possible values:

PRL_ERR_INVALID_ARG - invalid handle was passed.

PRL_ERR_SUCCESS - function completed successfully.

You can synchronize hostname of the guest OS with the name of the virtual machine it is running on. Feature is available for Linux guests only.
