Managing Sessions

The sessions management functionality allows you to disconnect, log off, and remotely control active sessions on the host and the sites.

To manage sessions, in the RAS Console, navigate to Administration / Session Management.

You can manage multiple sessions at the same time. Select one or more sessions that you'd like to manage and select one of the following options in the Tasks drop-down menu:

  • Disconnect — disconnects selected sessions.
  • Log Off — logs off session owners.
  • Send Message — opens a dialog where you can type and send a message to the owners of the selected sessions.
  • Remote Control — allows you to remotely control the selected user session. Note that this option is only available when you select a single session.
  • Show running processes — opens a dialog where you can view currently running user sessions. In the Show processes from drop-down box, select whether the list should contain sessions from the current server or all servers in the site. Use the buttons provided to refresh the list or to search for a process. To kill a process, select it and then click Close.
