PrlVmDev_SetStackIndex Function

Sets the virtual device stack index (position at the IDE or SCSI controller bus).

Syntax

PRL_RESULT PrlVmDev_SetStackIndex(
    PRL_HANDLE hVmDev, 
    PRL_UINT32 nStackIndex
);

hVmDev

A handle identifying the virtual device. This can be one of the following: PHT_VIRTUAL_DEV_HARD_DISK, PHT_VIRTUAL_DEV_OPTICAL_DISK, PHT_VIRTUAL_DEV_GENERIC_SCSI, PHT_VIRTUAL_DEV_GENERIC_PCI.

nStackIndex

A new index to set.

PRL_RESULT. Possible values:

PRL_ERR_INVALID_ARG - invalid handle or invalid handle type was passed.

PRL_ERR_SUCCESS - function completed successfully.
