PrlVmDev_GetType Function

Returns the type of the specified device.

Syntax

PRL_RESULT PrlVmDev_GetType(
    PRL_HANDLE hVmDev, 
    PRL_DEVICE_TYPE_PTR pnDeviceType
);

hVmDev

A handle identifying the virtual device.

pnDeviceType

[out] A pointer to a variable that receives the result.

PRL_RESULT. Possible values:

PRL_ERR_INVALID_ARG - invalid handle or null pointer was passed.

PRL_ERR_SUCCESS - function completed successfully.
