PrlVmDev_IsPassthrough Function

Determines if the passthrough mode is enabled for the specified mass storage device.

Syntax

PRL_RESULT PrlVmDev_IsPassthrough(
    PRL_HANDLE hVmDev, 
    PRL_BOOL_PTR pbPassthrough
);

hVmDev

A handle identifying the device. This can be one of the following: PHT_VIRTUAL_DEV_OPTICAL_DISK , PHT_VIRTUAL_DEV_HARD_DISK .

pbPassthrough

[out] A pointer to a variable that receives the result. PRL_TRUE indicates that the passthrough mode is enabled. PRL_FALSE indicates otherwise.

PRL_RESULT . Possible values:

PRL_ERR_INVALID_ARG - invalid handle or null pointer was passed.

PRL_ERR_SUCCESS - function completed successfully.
