PrlVmDev_GetStackIndex Function

Returns the virtual device stack index (position at the controller (IDE or SCSI) bus).

PRL_RESULT PrlVmDev_GetStackIndex(
    PRL_HANDLE hVmDev, 
    PRL_UINT32_PTR pnStackIndex

Parameters

hVmDev
A handle identifying the virtual device. This can be one of the following: PHT_VIRTUAL_DEV_HARD_DISK , PHT_VIRTUAL_DEV_OPTICAL_DISK , PHT_VIRTUAL_DEV_GENERIC_SCSI, PHT_VIRTUAL_DEV_GENERIC_PCI.
pnStackIndex
[out] A pointer to a variable that receives the result.
Returns

PRL_RESULT . Possible values:

PRL_ERR_INVALID_ARG - invalid handle or invalid handle type, or null pointer was passed.

PRL_ERR_SUCCESS - function completed successfully.
