PrlVmDevHd_SetSplitted Function

Allows to specify whether the hard disk should be split into multiple files or if a single file should be used.

Syntax

PRL_RESULT PrlVmDevHd_SetSplitted(
    PRL_HANDLE hVmDev, 
    PRL_BOOL bSplitted
);

hVmDev

A valid handle of type PHT_VIRTUAL_DEV_HARD_DISK identifying the virtual hard disk.

bSplitted

Hard disk file option. Specify PRL_TRUE to split the disk into multiple files. Specify PRL_FALSE to use a single file.

PRL_RESULT. Possible values:

PRL_ERR_INVALID_ARG - invalid handle or null pointer was passed.

PRL_ERR_SUCCESS - function completed successfully.
