Protect Your Data from Viruses

Parallels Desktop offers complementary trial subscription to Kaspersky antivirus software for both Mac OS X and Windows.

To take advantage of this offer, you download and install Kaspersky Internet Security for Windows and for the Mac. When the trial period expires, you can purchase a permanent activation key.

Download and Install Antivirus Protection for Windows

Open Parallels Desktop and start Windows.
Click the Parallels icon in the menu bar and choose Actions > Install Internet Security and follow the onscreen instructions.

Note: To install antivirus protection for Windows, Parallels Tools must be installed . In most cases, Parallels Tools are installed by default.

Remove Antivirus Protection from Windows

To remove Kaspersky Internet Security, remove it the same way you'd remove any other Windows application. See Windows Help and Support for more information.

Download and Install Antivirus Protection for Mac

If Parallels Desktop is set to Coherence mode, click the Parallels icon in the menu bar and choose View > Exit Coherence .
Choose Parallels Desktop > Install Antivirus for Mac and follow the onscreen instructions.

Remove Antivirus Protection for Mac

Choose Uninstall Antivirus for Mac from the Parallels Desktop menu and enter your administrator name and password.
